Founded in 1971, PHE, Inc. was born out of a master's thesis project on family planning by Phil Harvey. From its inception as a mail-order contraceptive business, it has since grown into one of the nation's largest, oldest, and most trusted sources for adult products. Serving millions of customers worldwide, we have built a reputation for honesty, reliability and quality. Our customers deserve the best, and we'll do whatever it takes to give it to them.

AdamEve.com is our flagship website, offering a diverse collection of sexual wellness products and sex toys for men and women to enjoy.

Retail & Franchises:

We maintain a significant brick-and-mortar presence with Adam & Eve Stores located all over the United States. Designed to provide a comfortable environment for customers to shop for sex toys and accessories, many stores are owned and operated by franchisees.

Products:

Adam & Eve manufacturers its own line of sex toys, including dildos and vibrators. Our experience and industry contacts allow us to bring customers high-quality products at affordable prices.

Film Production:

Adam & Eve Pictures produces premium adult films, including sex education videos. The group upholds the highest ethical standards for adult entertainment and is committed to the health and welfare of actors, producers, and crew.

MISSION STATEMENT

PHE's mission is to be a customer-oriented marketing, sales and distribution company in the adult products/sex education field. We will focus on long-term growth, both through the expansion of existing, profitable businesses and the development of new enterprises. We will maintain, and insist upon, the highest possible ethical standards in our dealings with our customers, our suppliers, our colleagues, and each other. We will continue to take the lead in setting national standards for sexually explicit materials. We will strive continuously to provide our customers with top-quality products, entertainment, and services that meet their needs and desires. We will maintain a working environment for our employees which respects their dignity and talent while rewarding performance.

GIVING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY

Giving back to the community is an important part of our culture. Employees hold fundraisers and volunteer their time throughout the year to support local causes such as animal welfare groups, food pantries, Meals-On-Wheels, the Special Olympics of North Carolina and more. They also support national causes including breast cancer research, Habitat For Humanity, St. Jude's Children's Hospital and the American Heart Association to name a few. PHE, Inc. matches every dollar they raise, while also making significant stand-alone contributions to other charities. When you do the math, over 20% of our profits are donated to dozens of charities every year. One of the largest beneficiaries is DKT International. DKT provides condoms and birth control to millions of men and women in Africa, Asia and Latin America to eliminate the spread of STDs and promote family planning.

All this hard work doesn't go unnoticed. The Hillsborough-Orange County Chamber of Commerce named us their Business of the Year - partly for our outstanding corporate citizenship and community outreach programs. This is the first time an adult company received such an award, but we're determined it won't be the last! In 2015, PHE, Inc. was a finalist for Large Business of the Year in Chapel Hill/Carrboro Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards.
